Committee revised plank
We recommend that the 2018 Texas Republican State Convention make a concerted effort to reorganize the state Republican Platform with a view towards marketing our Party’s ideas in a succinct, accurate manner. Consider having two sections to the platform as follows:
The first section would espouse our basic principles which has a significant or greater than 90% support of the majority of the convention and is a page or less, appropriately titled.
The second section of the platform would contain planks and ideas that provide details of our principles similar to the layout and sections contained in our current platform which only a majority of the convention need to approve.
