We support legislation requiring labor unions to obtain consent of the union member before that memberâ€™s dues can be used for political purposes. We oppose card check.

Committee revised plank

We urge the Texas Legislature to enact legislation ending the deduction of labor union dues from public employees’ paychecks and by prohibiting tax-funded lobbying.
