Current State Platform plank

The State of Texas shall acknowledge that the education of children is primarily the responsibility of parents/guardians. The stateâ€™s role is to help facilitate that responsibility, without interference.

We believe parents have the God-given right and responsibility to direct and guide their children’s education, moral, religious and secular. We believe that local, state, or federal laws, regulations, or policies that limit parental rights in the rearing children shall not be enacted.
