Texas should require all employers to screen new hires through the free E-Verify system to prevent the hiring of illegal aliens and to protect jobs for American workers, and we call upon the 86^th Texas Legislature to pass legislation to this effect. We urge the Republican Party of Texas to make mandatory E-Verify a priority for the 2019 legislative session and to utilize Party resources necessary to promote and support its passage.
