The educational system should focus on basic standards which include, but are not limited to a curriculum of reading (with an emphasis on phonics), spelling, writing, the arts, music, literature, mathematics, science, geography, economics, and United States and world history, and civics, including a defense of the American system of government (Representative Republic) and an exploration of the dangers of systems such as Communism and Socialism.
