We demand that state and federal law enforcement officers enforce our immigration laws, implement an entry/exit tracking system for visa holders, and expedite hearings on deporting both violent and non-violent illegal immigrants and visa overstays. Chain migration and the diversity visa lottery should be eliminated. Our legal immigration system should be strictly merit based, and the total number of new immigrants should be limited to a level that facilitates assimilation. Texas will continue to support ICE when illegal immigrants have been arrested in any county in Texas and will hold such individuals for ICE agents to collect for prosecution or deportation.
