We urge that the Texas Legislature to pass a joint resolution for a Texas Constitutional amendment to grant the State Attorney General’s office the authority to prosecute any felony-level Election Fraud case that crosses a county line and/or has been
turned down for prosecution by the county of jurisdiction District Attorney. We further urge that the Texas Attorney General’s office may choose the court for prosecution, will fund the prosecution, and that the Texas Department of Public Safety’s investigative branch of the Texas Rangers shall be the investigative arm for all prosecutions.
