We urge the Texas State Republican Party to call for, without delay, the Governor of the State of Texas, in his capacity of Commander in Chief of the Texas Military Department and of the Texas State Guard, the organized state militia, under the authority of Title 32 of the U.S. Code and Chapter 437 of the Texas Government Code, to proceed with due expedience to muster all available forces and direct them to secure the Texas/Mexico border. Forces mustered must be adequately armed and directed to use such force necessary to achieve this objective.
